"New Gallery" Art Funds,
established in 1989 in Moscow, specializes in Soviet art of 1920-50s.
The Art Funds possesses the collection of Russian and Soviet posters from
1880 to 1950s.This is one of the largest posters assemblage in Russia
among private collections ( about 1300 depository units ).
- Pre-Revolutionary Russian
posters (commercial, advertising, theater, etc.);
- Soviet Propaganda posters
of 1917-1937 ;
- Soviet Constructivist
posters of 1920-1932 ;
- Pre-War Soviet posters
of 1932-1941 ;
- War- time posters of
1941-1945 ;
- After-War posters of
1945-1960s;
The Funds closely and actively
cooperates with museum and private assemblages, in particular with the
Posters department of the Russian State Library (former Lenin Library);
the State Museum and Exhibition Centre ROSIZO (Moscow, Russia); the Museum
of Graphic Art ALBERTINO (Vienna, Austria); the Auction House BOLAFFI
(Turin, Italy); "Korcoran Gallery" (Washington, USA).
